Pediatric Offices at Willow Bend is a private, physician-owned pediatric practice in Plano, Texas, looking for a part-time Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our growing team.
We are looking for a compassionate, energetic, and clinically confident PA who enjoys building relationships with children and their families as well as joining a holistic MedSpa Team, and wants to practice in a personalized, provider-driven environment rather than a large corporate healthcare system.
What You'll Do:
- Provide comprehensive pediatric acute and routine care.
- Evaluate and treat common pediatric illnesses and injuries.
- Perform well-child examinations and developmental assessments.
- Conduct sports, camp, and school physicals.
- Provide preventive care, anticipatory guidance, and patient education.
- Diagnose and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Order and interpret appropriate laboratory and diagnostic testing.
- Prescribe medications within scope of practice.
- Collaborate closely with our physician and clinical team.
- Communicate effectively with parents, families and caregivers.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
- Provide services at Wellness at the Spa (sister company for adults).
- Participate in Saturday coverage at the MedSpa on a rotating basis.
We're Looking For Someone Who Is:
- PA-C licensed in Texas and in good standing.
- Experienced in pediatrics or genuinely passionate about working with children.
- Experience with Holistic Medicine or MedSpa services (preferred).
- Warm, personable, and comfortable communicating with parents.
- Clinically confident while knowing when collaboration is appropriate.
- Energetic, flexible, and willing to jump in wherever needed.
- Detail-oriented and committed to excellent documentation.
- Comfortable working independently in a busy clinical environment.
- A team player who believes exceptional patient care comes first.
